(Tampa, FL./ August 9, 2021) Eric D. Hart, CVE was elected Chair of the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) Board of Directors last week at IAVM’s VenueConnect 2021 conference in Atlanta. Mr. Hart is the CEO/President of the Tampa Sports Authority and has been active with IAVM for over a decade. Mr. Hart is eager and ready to apply his vast experience and depth of knowledge to IAVM as the venue industry reopens. 

“I am honored to be selected as Chair of this prestigious, international organization. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the sports and live event industry has been hard hit with lost events and staffing reductions. The educational offerings and advocacy work of IAVM is needed now more than ever and I look forward to working with the entire venue management industry in the ongoing recovery,” said Hart.
