Summary:
Event Operations Internship
The Event Operations Internship is a one year, paid, position assisting the Operations Department with all aspects of hosting events in the stadium. There are two internships available.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Operations Department to manage operations of all events including NFL and College Football, concerts, parking lot events and private events
Assist with day-to-day operations of the stadium involving set-up and tear down for events, pre and post event building inspections and implementing new policies and procedures
Participate in planning meetings for events including client, public safety and building meetings
Prepare and distribute event day documents, parking passes and wristbands
Assist with preparations for all events, including but not limited to, collecting event information
for event documents and timelines, set security entrances at gates and create training materials for
guest services staff
Assist with event, building and guest services operations on event days
Support Event Managers and Operations Budgeting Manager in creating and completing event
analysis for billing
Assist Security Manager with day-to-day operations as well as preparation and execution of
security measures for all events
Work with Event Booking and AutoCad software to produce documents and diagrams for events
Give tours of the Stadium to clients, vendors and guests
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and requirements:
Candidates must have, or be working towards, completing a bachelor’s degree, or higher, with a preferred focus in Sports Administration or similar field
Previous experience in a stadium or arena facility preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Ability to work untraditional hours including weekends, evenings, and some holidays
Basic computer skills including, but not limited to, Excel and Word
Candidate must hold a valid driver's license
