Tampa Sports Authority Facts

WHO: Tampa Sports Authority (TSA) was created by action of the Florida Legislature

WHY: The Enabling act directed the TSA to "plan, develop and maintain a comprehensive complex of sports and recreational facilities."

  • 134 acres known as the "Stadium Complex" (formerly Tampa Stadium) and its parking lots
  • The Raymond James Stadium® and its parking lots
  • The Authority operates three golf courses. The courses are owned by the city and operate financially independent from the stadium: the courses are Babe Zaharias, Rocky Point and Rogers Park.
