Chesney and McGraw Kick Off Summer with First Joint Rehearsal 'Brothers of the Sun' Tour Kicks Off June 2 at RJS

With the drumbeat to summer growing louder, rehearsals for the hottest tour of the summer are in full swing. The 'Brothers of the Sun' Tour, with Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw, hit the next level of production yesterday when Chesney and McGraw met for their first on-stage, joint rehearsal.

"Yesterday's rehearsal with Tim and I and our bands was as electric and exciting as we anticipated," said Chesney, the man with nine summers of playing to crowds of more than one million a year. "It's been a long time since we've played on stage together and the chemistry and excitement is just so natural. It's going to be a dream come true to have our years of friendship come together on stage for what will be one unpredictable, loud, hell of a summer, and I can't wait," Chesney continued.

The 3+ hour working rehearsal found the friends working out songs for the tour, which kicks off June 2 in Tampa, FL. With shows at more than 20 stadiums across the country, including MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford NJ, Soldier Field in Chicago, IL, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA, Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA, Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA and Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, TX, the tour is set to be the musical event of 2012.

This weekend's Amazing Race 2012 charity event in New Orleans with Drew Brees and Matthew McConaughey marks Chesney and his band's first public performance since the debut of "Feel Like a Rock Star" at the ACM Awards. Chesney's 13th studio album, 'Welcome To The Fishbowl,' will be available on June 19 (BNA Records) and the first single, "Feel Like A Rock Star," with tourmate Tim McGraw, debuted in early April and has quickly climbed the charts.

The players always talk about how great the surface is at Raymond James Stadium, so overall we think is the ideal venue.”

The United States has never played against Antigua and Barbuda, which qualified for the Semifinal Round of qualifying for the first time ever after winning Group F with a combined score of 25-3. The 2007 matchup is the most memorable, with 31,547 on hand at Raymond James Stadium to see a magnificent hat trick by Landon Donovan in a 3-1 victory. Georgia to Square-off Against Michigan State In Outback Bowl

December 04, 2011 Tampa, FL—The Michigan State Spartans and Georgia Bulldogs will square-off in the Outback Bowl on January 2nd in Tampa, bowl officials announced today. It is a match-up of two 10 win Division Champions from two of the most prestigious conferences in college football – the SEC and Big Ten. The Spartans are ranked 12th in the AP Poll while the Bulldogs are ranked 18th.

“We are delighted to extend invitations to Michigan State University and the University of Georgia to play in this year’s Outback Bowl and thrilled to host these two Division Champions from the Big Ten and SEC,” said Outback Bowl Chairman Dale Dignum. “These teams feature exceptional talent, including two of the best quarterbacks in the nation, who should put on an exciting show on January 2nd. We look forward to hosting the Bulldogs once again, including Tampa’s own Aaron Murray and Orson Charles, and to welcoming the Spartans team and fans to their first-ever Outback Bowl. We ensure them it will be a fabulous experience.”

“I’m really excited for our team and especially our seniors with the opportunity to play in Tampa which is one of the premier January bowl games,” said UGA head coach Mark Richt. “We were fortunate to play in this game back in 2005 and had a terrific experience. This will be the first time the members of our team have the opportunity to play in Tampa and playing a top quality opponent like Michigan State will be a challenge we’ll look forward to.”

“We are delighted with the selection of our team to represent the Southeastern Conference in the Outback Bowl,” said UGA Director of Athletics Greg McGarity. “It’s a great destination for our student-athletes and our fans --- warm weather, wonderful attractions, a first class stadium, and we look forward to competing against a great Michigan State team. Our fans have been a big part of our success this season and I’m confident they will support the team with their attendance in this bowl game.”

“It’s remarkable what Mark Dantonio has accomplished in five short seasons at Michigan State,” MSU Athletics Director Mark Hollis said. “The Spartans are making their third New Year’s Day bowl appearance in the last four years. This promises to be a great match-up, as Georgia went 10-3 during the regular season and won the Southeastern Conference’s Eastern Division. The last time these two teams met in the 2009 Capital One Bowl the outcome wasn’t decided until the fourth quarter, so we anticipate another competitive game.

“Florida is a special place for many Spartans, and we’re excited about making our first bowl trip to the west coast of the Sunshine State. We also look forward to working closely with two Outback Bowl officials who have MSU ties. Outback Bowl CEO Jim McVay’s father John was an assistant coach on Duffy Daugherty’s staff in the early 1960s and Sales Director Jerry Kulig is a MSU graduate. We can’t wait to gather in the streets of Tampa to help ring in the New Year.”

“We’re looking forward to having the opportunity to represent the Big Ten as Legends Division Champions in the Outback Bowl against a Top 20 opponent in Georgia, the SEC Eastern Division Champions,” Dantonio said. “Our focus is on winning our last football game – the bowl game. It’s important for our seniors – the winningest four-year class in Spartan history – to add a bowl victory to its long list of accomplishments.

“Obviously, we have a great deal of respect for Mark Richt and his football program. Georgia put together an impressive 10-game winning streak this season. This Outback Bowl game features two of the nation’s top defensive teams (Georgia and MSU rank third and fifth, respectively, in total defense among NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision teams). Offensively, Aaron Murray is a talented, young quarterback who directs an offensive attack that averages more than 400 total yards and 32 points per game.

“Three years ago, we played Georgia in the Capital One Bowl and that game went down to the wire, so fans can expect another close contest. We’re excited for this opportunity.”

The Outback Bowl will be played on January 2nd at 1:00 PM at Raymond James Stadium. Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster at (813) 287-8844 or 1-800-745-3000 and can be purchased online at Tickets can also be purchased at any Ticketmaster outlet in the state of Florida.

"Reality," Chesney's fifth single from 2010’s ‘Hemingway’s Whiskey,' was shipped to radio in October.

McGraw is a three-time GRAMMY winner who has had #1 singles in each of the last three decades – 32 in total – including the title track of his most recent album, 'Southern Voice.' His 2010 tour in support of that album was the year's biggest country tour. “Felt Good On My Lips,” from his double-CD ‘Number One Hits,' spent three weeks at #1 earlier this year. McGraw is also an accomplished actor, having starred in films such as the Oscar-nominated blockbuster 'The Blind Side' and the critically acclaimed 'Friday Night Lights.'

Tickets go on sale December 9 through Ticketmaster.

Expanded Pat-Down for Bucs vs. Detroit Game

Contact: Barbara Casey Public Information Officer Tampa Sports Authority 813-350-6504

September 10, 2011…Tampa, FL…Due to a new league-wide security measure initiative, Raymond James Stadium will join other National Football League stadiums in expanding the customary pat-downs to include the knee to ankle area.  All fans may be subjected to this modified pat-down.

The knee-to-ankle area will be added to the current pat-down procedure which entails an unobtrusive head-to-waist inspection for persons of all ages.  Pat-downs will be done expeditiously by highly trained individuals of the same gender, done with the back of the hand; women will search women and men will search men.  Fans that refuse pat-downs will not be admitted into Raymond James Stadium.

Fans who tender a ticket and consent to such searches, waive any related claim against the stadium landlord, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the NFL and their respective agents.

Stadium gates open 90 minutes prior to Sunday’s 1:00 p.m. kickoff against the Detroit Lions. We ask that fans please arrive early to give themselves plenty of time to enter the stadium.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced the launch of their new, official mobile smartphone app for both iPhone and Android operating systems, designed to allow fans unprecedented access to team news on the go, with up-to-the-minute information, statistics and other content.

"We're excited to be launching our free app as our fans are eagerly awaiting the kickoff of the Bucs' football season," said Buccaneers Director of Communications Jonathan Grella. "We're constantly looking for ways to leverage technology to enhance fan experience, in addition to our football operations. This app has been created to enable our fans to stay connected with their favorite team on game day and every day."

Earlier this year, the Buccaneers became innovative leaders by utilizing iPads for Draft preparation, playbooks and game planning.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Official Mobile App was designed in partnership with YinzCam, Inc., and will provide real-time Buccaneers news updates, along with injury reports, player statistics, team standings, scores, press conferences, and photo albums. In addition, a special Fan Zone area of the app includes numerous ways for Buccaneers fans to connect and engage with the team, from links to the team's social networking feeds to a gameday check-in feature using Foursquare and Gowalla. Lee Roy Selmon September 5, 2011…Tampa, FL…The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, USF Bulls and Tampa Sports Authority have responded to inquiries from the public about placement of Lee Roy Selmon tributes.

The three organizations have designated a space at Raymond James Stadium for a temporary memorial to the beloved Selmon.  People wishing to leave tributes to Lee Roy Selmon, the Hall of Fame Buccaneers player, USF Athletic Director and former TSA , are free to place flowers, cards or remembrances on the tree-shaded mound in the middle of the mass transit drop-off turnaround on Dale Mabry.  Signage for the drop off location near the pedestrian footbridge crossing over Dale Mabry will be displayed Tuesday after 5 p.m., September 6.  Drop-offs may begin Tuesday after 5 p.m. and continue through game day on Sunday, September 11.  Map to Selmon tribute drop off location -
