John Jaeb to chair Tampa Sports Authority Board
(Tampa, Fl./ August 3, 2017) The Tampa Sports Authority Board of Directors has elected John Jaeb to the post of Chairman. Mr. Jaeb was appointed by the City of Tampa and has served on the Authority board since 2013. John is President of Quest Capital Corporation, a private investment firm that manages investments in both businesses and real estate. Previously, Mr. Jaeb served as CEO of Pick Kwik Corporation until the Company was successfully sold to Amerada Hess Corporation. Prior to Pick Kwik, he was VP of Real Estate and Business Development for Shop & Go, Inc. His term as chairman expires in July 2018.
“I am honored to serve as Chairman of the Tampa Sports Authority board during this exciting time of stadium renovations and hosting marquee events, ” said Mr. Jaeb, “I look forward to working with Eric Hart and his management team to continue bringing first class sports and entertainment events to our area.”
The Authority board also elected Tony Muniz as Vice Chairman and City Councilman Frank Reddick as Secretary/ Treasurer.
The Tampa Sports Authority manages Raymond James Stadium and three municipal golf courses- Rocky Point, Rogers Park and Babe Zaharias. The Authority also serves as the landlord for George Steinbrenner Field and Amalie Arena.
